I thought I'd share some new pieces I've been working on over the past few days. I felt as if I really wanted to make some small work again to take a bit of a break from the recent larger paintings on canvas. The pieces below are just the start - I'll be able to share some more later this week.
I now have a lot of work to make for several galleries across the UK over the next couple of months, so I'll be getting back to the easel properly this week!
If you follow me on twitter, you'll know that we've also been dealing with some very sad news. Barney (the family cat who has been with us for every one of his 18 years) became ill very suddenly on Sunday night (27th March) and died about five hours later. Without going into detail, it was very distressing to see him suffering so much at the end, and it came as a huge shock to us. We have all missed him over the past week and the house is certainly not the same without him. He was such a character and the best little furry friend we could ever have wished for. RIP Barneycat, we all love you and you will be forever missed. xx
