Hello from Paris! I'm here for a short visit - just 11 days this time - and I'm having a lovely time so far. I've been posting a few photographs on Instagram - if you're an Instagram user and you'd like to see them, my username is natashanewton. I'll try to find time to post some on the blog as well.
We're just about to go out again (Leon is waiting for me) so I'll make this post a quick one! I wanted to share a little set of three paintings I made before I left for Paris. They're now available from the Serena Hall Gallery in Southwold - they're a fantastic, professional and friendly gallery who I've been exhibiting with for years, so please contact them if you're interested in these pieces. I'm really enjoying working on these beautiful linen canvases and I've been able to find some here in Paris too, so I'm making a new Mountaintops painting right now.

Do you bother with gessoing them? I gessoed mine but then read that there's no need.

These are lovely. The natural canvas backgrounds work so well.
