Hello everyone,
Since last Sunday I've been a bit quiet again on the blogging front (and sporadic at best on twitter) because we've had a busy week here in Paris. Leon has been working a lot and when he hasn't been working we've been out meeting friends and therefore spending quite a bit of time in Parisian cafes (always one of my favourite things to do), and I've been taking some more photos - with my proper Canon camera this time - but I'll show you those another day as I still have to edit and upload them.
I've also been working quite a lot this week. Among other things I've been finishing off another stone commission; a second set of 20 painted stones, this time for a customer in Australia (see below). I enjoy working on the large groups of stones so much - and they look so striking when they're displayed together - that I'm thinking of offering sets of 10 in the shop sometime soon. I'll let you know if that happens! Anyway, if you like what you see and you'd like me to make a set especially for you, just let me know! I've been working on quite a few stone commissions recently and I love making them.

I'll keep this post short because I want to share more photos in a couple of days, but I wanted to show you this beautiful ring Leon bought for me yesterday. The stone is labradorite, set in silver, and it's beautiful. Sometimes it looks like a muted blue-grey (a similar colour to the one I use in many of my paintings) but when the light catches it, it shines a bright electric/petrol blue. I love it! I've been told to wear it on this finger, and although we're not 'officially' announcing our engagement yet, the sentiment is the same.
I took the photo with my iPad this morning so it's not super high-quality but I really like how it turned out, especially with Leon's fancy candlesticks in the background!
So, I'm having a lovely time here in Paris and I'll be back soon with more photos and hopefully some new artwork to share with you too. See you soon. x

Hey Natty! been thinking about you:) The stone set is gorgeous. So glad to hear Leon is out of the woods - and love the ring and what is symbolizes. Much happiness to you both!

Wonderful things happening! Do you walk the streets of Paris or do you float over them :))

Thank you, Manasi! I will be adding more pieces to the Etsy shop soon (it's looking pretty empty at the moment!).
