Look what I have here!
It's an Instagram photo of my new sound recorder! Bought yesterday in the Pigalle district of Paris (where there are a ton of music shops) after much consideration, and after making the decision to start podcasting, which is something I've been meaning to do for a while. We tested this little baby for the first time last night and the sound quality is amazing! It certainly helps to have a 'sound man' as a boyfriend. He knows all about these things. Without him I'd be lost. ;)
As for what I'll be podcasting about...you'll have to wait and see! I hope to get the first one online before I leave Paris to go back to the UK (I really need Leon's help for the first one) on 25th January, so I'll keep you posted.
Edit: I've just set up a SoundCloud page for my Podcasts - you can find and follow me here: soundcloud.com/natashanewton
Just quickly, in other news, I've been adding some new painted stones to The Blackbird Sings shop today that I've made since I've been in Paris. They're ready to be shipped from Paris to anywhere in the world! In a couple of weeks or so the March issue of UK Homes and Gardens magazine should be out which features some of my stones and also one of my painted sycamore plates. I'm more than a little excited.
