As it's a Monday (again...how did that happen so quickly? Is it really A WEEK since Boxing Day?!) I'm supposed to write a blog entry, but I hope you'll forgive me because today's is going to be short. The reason for this is because I'm off to Paris for three weeks tomorrow morning to spend some time with Leon and I'm busy packing - which is not so easy when you're an artist as I need to pack art materials and supplies alongside clothes and toiletries - and I'm also working my way through my 'To Do' list before tonight. Therefore, I have very little time to write a blog!
I'm also a bit worried because I'm still not completely over this flu virus, and I'm a lot weaker/more tired than I would usually be. The Suffolk - Paris trip is about seven hours in total and involves a car journey to Ipswich station, a train into London (although I am in First Class tomorrow, so that helps a bit!), and then an Underground journey to St Pancras station, where I check in and catch the Eurostar train to Paris. It's quite a lot of walking and dragging my case and bags up and down various flights of stairs, so I hope I'm going to be ok. I'm trying to pack as light as I possibly can, but that's easier said than done when I'm going to be away for three weeks!
Anyway, if all goes well I'll be blogging from Paris later this week - and other than that you can follow me on twitter if you'd like more regular updates and photos: @NatashaNewton
I hope you all had a Happy New Year - enjoy the first week of 2012!

Bon voyage!

It may be easier to keep up on your blog posting schedule if you are able to pre-write some posts so you're ahead of the game a bit. That way you won't feel so much pressure. Easier said than done, I know.
Good luck on your trip.
