Just a quick update because I'm currently getting ready for my trip to Paris tomorrow. As you probably know, I was supposed to go on Valentine's Day, but due to one thing and another it was postponed for two weeks. So my four week trip is now a two week trip. C'est la vie. I just hope I can stay well this time because the migraines are still being a total pain in the butt.
By the way, I really want to post the blog I've been promising for a gazilllion years (I believe I first mentioned it around the time of the Big Bang) about running a small creative business, and I'm hoping to do that soon. I have actually started writing it.....it just needs to be finished. Let's hope that my time in Paris will allow me to not only post that blog, but also my very first podcast! Truth be told, I'm not sure how to use my new sound recorder properly OR how to edit the podcasts yet, so I'll need Leon's help with that. We did a little recording while I was in Paris in January, but we ran out of time.
Anyway, look what I have here - new stone collections! Yes siree.

You can find both of these and other painted stones in the shop. It's good to be able to stock up again as I've sold so many stones since the Homes & Gardens magazine feature (thank you H&G!), and I've also accepted several commissions for the stone collections too. I'm looking forward to making more canvas paintings soon as I feel I've painted so few of them over the past three months. I want to continue with the new We're Almost Home series (both of which have now sold - you can see them here) and try out several new ideas too. And I'll have a proper studio space again from the end of March / early April onwards...oh yes. :)

Can NOT wait for your post on running a creative business, honestly I don't have a business bone in my body, it is like pulling teeth. I love the designing and making but I find the marketing and finance side so confusing and stressful and boring. Is that a right brained thing? But it has to be done, so any tips would be brilliant.
Have a wonderful two weeks in Paris chez Leon, sending up a little prayer the headaches stay away. Take loads of teabags for those strong cuppas you said helped! xx
